project spotlight

This residential project features two prints from like.leigh's New Moon Collection: June in Natural/White, showcased in the window treatments, and Luna in Antique Gold/Natural, featured on the breakfast nook cushion. As founder and creative director of like.leigh, I led the development of the collection from concept through completion, overseeing the creative vision, print design, and final execution.

2025 - Present

Ruggable | Lead Textile Designer

  • Manage and mentor a small team of designers, fostering innovation, creativity, and professional development.

  • Establish and maintain workflows, timelines, and cross-functional checkpoints to ensure color standards and print assets are delivered on schedule for key milestones.

  • Collaborate with design leadership to identify emerging color and material trends, translating insights into cohesive seasonal palettes and print direction.

  • Develop and execute annual color strategies and seasonal textile collections, ensuring relevance and trend alignment while upholding the Ruggable brand aesthetic.

2020 - Present

like.leigh  | Creative Director, Senior Textile Designer

  • Research current market, identifying emerging trends, standout materials, and innovative constructions. Visiting trade shows, design fairs, and industry events to gather inspiration and build a brand that keeps up with industry leaders.

  • Plan and execute the creation of thematic textile collections; Ensuring the collection includes a diverse range of patterns, textures, and color. 

  • Build production-ready repeats, prepare artwork files, and communicate directly with local and overseas vendors in order to achieve desired printing results.

  • Review and approve designs, materials, and samples to maintain quality and brand standards.

  • Provide expertise to clients, sales teams, and showrooms about the textiles’ design, functionality, and applications.

2017 - 2019

ADD BLACK | Senior Textile Designer

  • Create original textile print designs for a portfolio of swimwear brands including Tori Praver Swimwear, Amuse Society, Spiritual Gangster, and private labels for Target and Amazon. 

  • Build production-ready repeats, prepare artwork files, and communicate directly with local and overseas vendors in order to achieve desired printing results.

  • Research current market trends in order to assemble mood, color and trend boards for monthly and annual deliveries.

  • Design engaging and on-brand graphic print and web assets for the Tori Praver Brand including, website and social media graphics, newsletter layout and various marketing material as needed.

2016 - 2017

PACKit | Textile Designer

  • Analyzed print trends/colors in order to create seasonal print stories and color palettes that clearly establish PackIt's brand identity.

  • Created original designs, color separate files for various customers including, Target, Amazon, and Williams Sonoma.

  • Worked extensively with vendors locally and overseas in order to print design files based on repeat size, screen specifications and fabrication. 

2010 - 2015

Kellwood | Textile Designer

  • Assist in managing a team of eight textile and graphic designers by distributing workflow and meeting critical deadlines among 20+ apparel divisions.

  • Research and create original prints reflecting seasonal trends for a wide range of brands including Rebecca Taylor, XOXO, Jolt, My Michelle, and private labels for Macy’s, Dillard’s, and Bloomingdales.

  • Color separate and create original color ways based on seasonal color palettes and stories.
